We have launched a discussion forum to help people participate in conversations to promote living well with dementia.

We are supporting take up and engagement with the discussion forum by targetting specific stakeholder groups with a key role to play in supporting the implementation of the National Dementia Strategy.

Our first target group is care home managers and dementia leads. To support this we have established the Care homes discussion forum which aims to support care home managers and dementia leads to discuss challenging issues, share experience and expertise about caring for people with dementia who live in care homes.

Over the next few weeks members of the South West Dementia Partnership implementation support team will be profiling the Care homes discussion forum during speaking engagements across the region.
